What Happened to the TigerShark Classic Dive Watch?
The first model TigerShark Classic Dive Watch was the result of Robert and David's efforts. It included outstanding components such as a Swiss ETA 2824-2 automatic 25-jewel mechanical movement. These watches were priced in the $300 - $350 range and sold out as of August of 2008. Robert and David made every effort to manufacture more of the classic dive watches, but extreme changes in the industry and the value of the US dollar made it impossible to hold the previous pricing. Making the exact same classic dive watch in 2009 would have resulted in a retail price in the $600 - $700 range. Rather than abandon the TigerShark line, Robert and David decided to stick with the original mission of providing the best possible value for the price. After a great deal of research and many, many prototypes, the TigerShark Classic Sport Watch was created. Featuring a timeless design and rugged components, this new model utilizes a Japanese automatic 21-jewel mechanical movement. Replacement Parts A VERY
